Wordpress is talked highly about, we’ll see how it turns out. For now, this is an experiment to see if I can effectively post photos and possibly videos.  My first impressions is that it is not very slick for entering batch photos.  I’ll include one photo with this blog entry, the rest of the pictures I am (for now) posting here on flickr.com.  There are probably some Wordpress plugins that address this issue.

Flickr does offer some third-party apps which can be used for doing easy uploads of a batch of pictures.  They even have one that works under Linux called jUploader.  Very simple to use, does what you’d expect it to.

I’ll start things with a panoramic I stitched together using hugins. This was on a hike up some mountains in Ruidosa NM.
